On 4 November 2023, amendments to the Law on Procedure of Registration in Real Estate Cadastre and Infrastructure Cadastre came into effect. These amendments, contrary to the previous procedure by which cadastre requests could be submitted by natural persons or companies at the counters of cadastral offices by prior appointment, introduce exclusively digital submittions by professional users, attorneys and geodetic organizations.
In this regard, all legal entities and natural persons who are not obligees of delivery (such as notaries, courts, and public enforcement officers) must now make cadastre registrations through attorneys and geodetic organizations.
Attorneys and geodetic organizations (each in their respective domains, depending on the subject) digitalize the required documentation for registration and contracts, submissions, evidence, and acts submit in form of electronic document through web portal eCounter (in Serbian: eŠalter).
