Notification on Amendments Regarding the Implementation of Regulations in the Field of Occupational Safety and Health

In accordance with the announcement published on our website on 3 April, 2025, concerning alignment with the provisions of the new Law on Occupational Safety and Health, we hereby inform you of changes regarding the effective date of the following regulations:

  • Regulation on the Manner of Keeping and Retention Periods of Records in the Field of Occupational Safety and Health,
  • Regulation on Preventive Measures for Safe and Healthy Work at Heights,
  • Regulation on the Procedure for Inspection and Verification of Work Equipment and the Inspection and Testing of Electrical and Lightning Protection Installations, as well as Testing of Working Environment Conditions,
  • Regulation on the Manner and Procedure for Risk Assessment at the Workplace and in the Working Environment.

Initially, these regulations were scheduled to come into force on 28 April 2025. However, following amendments to the relevant provisions, the new effective date has been postponed to 1 January 2026.
It is important to note that the regulations with the amended provisions formally entered into force on 26 April 2025. Employers’ obligations regarding the implementation of preventive measures remain unchanged.
The purpose of extending the deadline is to enable more efficient implementation of the regulations. By postponing the effective date, employers are provided with additional time to align their operations with the new provisions.
