This year, too, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia provided funds for almost 150 new scholarships for doctoral students in various scientific fields and disciplines, thus financing the costs of their involvement in scientific research organizations and supporting them on their path to acquiring the doctoral degree.
Our colleague, Marija Spasić, who is among the 25 winners of this scholarship in the field of social sciences, attended the official ceremony held yesterday at the Ministry.
On that occasion, the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Branko Ružić, pointed out that the state is honored to support and help young people get involved in the work of scientific research organizations, and thus get the opportunity to develop practical knowledge in the stimulating scientific environment.
Marija will continue her research work with the support of a selected mentor at the Institute for Comparative Law, where she will focus on commercial law, or, more precisely, banking contract law.
The scholarship financially supports the activities related to the study and specialization of doctoral students, such as participation in scientific conferences in the country and abroad, studying abroad programs, but also the costs of application, final preparation and defence of doctoral dissertations.
