At its 124th regular session held on July 15, 2025, the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decision on the Minimum Wage for 2025, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia No. 67 on July 31, 2025, and is applicable as of October 1, 2025 („Decision”).
According to the Decision, starting from October 1, 2025, the minimum wage will amount to RSD 337.00 per working hour, excluding taxes and contributions. Previously, during the period from January to September 2025, the minimum wage amounted to RSD 308.00 per working hour, also excluding taxes and contributions.
This change represents a 9.4% increase in the hourly wage for 2025, for the relevant period.
The total monthly net minimum wage will vary throughout the year depending on the number of working hours in a given month:
- October 2025 (184 working hours) – RSD 62.008,00;
- November 2025 (160 working hours) – RSD 53.920,00;
- December 2025 (184 working hours) – RSD 62.008,00.
This increase is considered an extraordinary adjustment, while the Government of the Republic of Serbia has also proposed a regular increase starting from January 1, 2026, which members of the Social and Economic Council were expected to begin discussing by the end of August 2025.
